Lakota West High School will host a free night of games, inflatables and face painting for elementary students on Friday, Sept. 25.
Future Firebird Night, announced on the Lakota Local Schools website, invites Lakota West feeder school students in grades K-6 to Firebird Stadium at 8940 Union Centre Blvd. in West Chester Township. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Along with carnival-style activities, students will get a chance to walk the field before the Firebirds take on Fairfield in the homecoming game, according to the school's daily announcements.
Admission is free, but families need to pick up a wristband at the pavilion between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Wristbands are first-come, first-served.
Children must be present and accompanied by an adult to receive a wristband. The school said this is not a drop-off event. All students must stay with their guardians throughout the evening.
