Liberty Center in Liberty Township will open its holiday Santa photo experience Nov. 20, with inclusive and pet-friendly options on the schedule alongside a daily lineup that runs through Dec. 24.
The shopping center's Photos with Santa program returns to The Living Room on the lower level of The Foundry. Families can visit daily except Thanksgiving Day. Reservations are recommended but not required, and walk-ups will be accommodated as time allows.
Three specialty events anchor the schedule.
Lights Up kicks off the season on Saturday, Nov. 21, with afternoon holiday activities, a 5:30 p.m. parade featuring local organizations and holiday characters, and a tree lighting in The Park immediately after the parade.
Pet Photo Nights run on three Monday evenings: Nov. 23 and Nov. 30 from 4 to 7 p.m., and Dec. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. Dogs, cats, bunnies and other small pets are welcome as long as they are leashed or in a carrier. Reservations are strongly recommended, according to Liberty Center's event page.
Sensory Santa is set for Sunday, Dec. 6, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Liberty Center described the morning as a calmer, sensory-friendly experience for children and families who prefer a quieter setting. The session takes place before the mall opens to the public, with lights dimmed and music turned off. Free Santa visits are included, with professional photos available for purchase through Cherry Hill Photo. A holiday coloring station and candy cane giveaways round out the morning. Liberty Center's Sensory Santa page notes the event fills up quickly and urges families to reserve a spot in advance.
Reservations for all specialty events can be made through Liberty Center's event pages linked above.
