Lakota East High School's homecoming dance returns to the stadium turf on Saturday, Sept. 12, and tickets open at 7 a.m. on Aug. 31 through the Hometown App at gohawksgo.com.
The early-bird price is $25 if purchased between Aug. 31 and 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11. After that cutoff and on the day of the dance, tickets jump to $35. All sales are non-refundable and non-transferable.
To buy a ticket, students need the last five digits of their school ID number as a passcode.
The dance runs 7 to 10 p.m. on the turf field, according to a Lakota East school news post. The Liberty Township school enrolls roughly 2,660 students in grades 9 through 12.
Guests and entry rules
Students bringing an outside guest must complete a guest form, available in all school offices and online, and return it to the Main Office by noon on Sept. 11. Once the form is processed, the student receives a passcode to purchase the guest's ticket. A copy of the guest's photo ID is required at the door.
All Lakota East students must show their school ID to enter. Junior high students are not permitted, and no attendee older than 20 may attend.
Turf-field dress code
Because the dance is on the turf, high-heeled shoes are not allowed. The school's announcement also asks students to skip the gum, noting it can only be removed from turf by cutting it out.
