A developer is seeking approval to build the first Sheetz convenience store and gas station in Liberty Township, with the planning commission set to weigh in next month. This would be the first Sheetz location in Butler County.
The Liberty Township Planning Commission will consider the proposal on July 20 at 5 p.m. at the Liberty Township Administration Building, 5021 Winners Circle Drive.
The proposed Sheetz would sit on a 1.9726-acre lot at the southwest corner of Wesley Way and Butler-Warren Road. Mike Casale, Sheetz's regional entitlement manager, is requesting final approval for the project.
Sheetz operates made-to-order food service alongside fuel and convenience items. The nearest Sheetz to the proposed Butler County site is in Franklin.
The meeting is open to the public. The project is listed on the agenda as case ZC26-015.
